Celebration Of Festivals And National Days

India is the land of festivals. More than 500 festivals in 365 days are celebrated in different parts ofthe country at different times.AURED concluded that one of the best ways for children to learn about India’s multi-cultural inheritance and its complex social fabric was by celebrating some of the major festivals and national days in India. This has proved to be very successful. It not only impacts children’s language, cognition and speech, but also gives them a different perspective on lives lived by others. It impacts moral and ethical development, religious tolerance and acceptance of practices and beliefs of others. Living in harmony and integration is what AURED aims for! This is proving to be a great way for children to learn and is creating a lot of excitement and enthusiasm amongst the parents and therapists.
